Important: We Do Not Host Any Ebook Files

InkFreeBooks does not host, store, or distribute any ebook files on our servers. Our website is purely a metadata directory — we catalog information about books (titles, authors, descriptions, covers) that are believed to be in the public domain. The actual ebook files, when available, are linked to external sources such as Project Gutenberg, Open Library, Internet Archive, and other open repositories.

If you believe a link or piece of metadata on our site references content that infringes your copyright, please file a DMCA notice as described below. We will promptly review and act on valid notices.

Filing a DMCA Notice

Your written notice must include all of the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
  2. The exact URL on our site where the alleged infringing reference is located
  3. Your contact information (name, address, telephone, email)
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
  6. Your physical or electronic signature

Submission

Submit DMCA notices via our contact page. Valid notices are processed within 5 business days.

Counter-Notification

If you believe a reference was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification with the same elements above plus a statement consenting to jurisdiction.

Repeat Infringers

We may terminate access for users who repeatedly submit infringing material in appropriate circumstances.
